Sea Burial

Experience a peaceful goodbye off the shore of Oahu. Ash scattering returns the ones who have passed away back to nature. PCK Nautical provides a tranquil and intimate setting for both you and your loved ones to say your final goodbyes.

We will motor off the South Shore of Oahu until we find a peaceful resting place. Then opening our back gate, you are able to step onto our swim step. From the swim step at the water’s edge you can gently release your loved one into the clear blue sea.

Traditionally, our guest have thrown rose pedals and flowers into the water after releasing their loved one. Our captain can also read a short poem in honor of the deceased.

After returning back to the pier, PCK Nautical will provide a Sea Burial Certificate that includes the date & time and latitude & longitude for where and when your loved one’s remains were committed to the sea.
